When we bought the pool from Sam's we should of upgraded the pump
from the beginning
We used this conversion kit and I ordered a stronger pump
I strongly recommend you up grade the pump
We built our own ladder
We love our pool

I bought the upgrade krstal clear model 655t filter pump for my 18ft. pool because the original one broke after 3 years. I also bought the hose conversion adapters kit.
After reading the instructions of the pump (no instructions came with the adapters) i had to totally eliminate the filter strainers that attach to the hoses which made me a little upset but the filter strainers that are supposed to fit inside the pool will not fit on the 18 ft pools and there is no adapter kit for these strainers.
other than that everything else fit and will be turning it on in a few hours.
I ordered my adapters from CMS but not my pump and had no problems with either company.

Not sure why this is considered a "toy" and rated as such but I gave it high marks as it contributes to my pool's pump system working properly and THAT contributes to our family fun. These conversion adapters are actually ALREADY INCLUDED in the Intex Krystal Clear Deluxe Saltwater System with built-in pump so DO NOT ORDER THESE IF YOU ORDER THAT PRODUCT. I now have two extras!! However, they are indeed needed if you intend to upgrade to a larger pump for the 10' pool. I highly recommend doing so as smaller pools get nasty FAST and the higher volume pumps make it a LOT easier to keep the pool ready with very little effort (especially when combined with the saltwater system)!!

I purchased a new pool filter for my Intex 15ft. round pool, and absolutely had to buy these adapters for the filter to fit my pool. I had been looking around for these adapters on amazon, and I came across the adapters that I bought from this seller, and he added the comment that these adapters were the only thing you needed to purchase along with the new filter! I was planning on buying other parts, until I read his most helpful comment! I found a reputable seller who left all the filter parts in the box, instead of taking them out and selling them to you seperately!!! So the adapters are perfect, I got easy to understand instructions with the adapters! I was able to easily hook up the adapters. They came in record time, and the shipping costs were very reasonable! I saved a bunch of money by buying adapters from this seller as well! So Thank you for a great product and easy to read instructions, and some well needed info on the filter as well!

The items arrived swiftly and in proper condition exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, as the pump didn't ship from same supplier and didn't arrive until 10 days later, I had no idea that I actually didn't need the adapters. Everything was fine in terms of condition and delivery, however, having worked in shipping departments for companies, I did feel that the shipping charge was excessive for the type and weight of the item. I am aware of what it would cost me to ship a similar item using the usual methods of priority mail, fed ex, or ups, and the charges were literally several times that cost and also several times the cost of the item. In future, I would look to a local supplier of such items in the community rather than pay such exhorbitant shipping charges.
